APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) – The Outagamie County Board is expected to receive a recommendation for a settlement in a federal wrongful death lawsuit.
The lawsuit is over the 2020 death of Xee Yang, who jumped from a van on Highway 441 while she was with two sheriff’s deputies during a mental health crisis.
According to documents online, the county’s finance committee is expected to recommend a $400,000 settlement to her spouse. The meeting is set for 11 a.m…
