NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – North Little Rock police were involved in a deadly shooting early Tuesday morning, the department confirmed.
According to the North Little Rock Police Department, the shooting happened in the 500 block of West “A” Avenue. Officers said they responded to the area just before 6 a.m. after receiving a report of a person shooting a gun.

After arriving on the scene, NLRPD officials said multiple officers fired their service weapons, which led to the person’s death.
Police said no officers were injured in the shooting and there have been no reports of injuries to anyone else.
