Popular Whitehall Township Breakfast Spot Griddle 145 Closing as Owners Prepare New Restaurant Opening

Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania — A well-known breakfast and lunch destination in Whitehall Township is preparing to close its doors this week, marking the end of a familiar gathering place for local diners while setting the stage for a new beginning nearby.

Longtime Whitehall Restaurant Announces Closure

Griddle 145 announced that its location at 1146 MacArthur Road will officially close on Wednesday, ending more than a decade of service in the community. The announcement was shared publicly by the restaurant, reflecting on the emotional significance of the decision.

“This place has been more than a restaurant – it’s been part of our lives, and part of yours,” the restaurant shared in a message to customers. Over the years, Griddle 145 became known not only for its breakfast and lunch offerings but also as a place where regulars gathered, families met, and daily routines turned into traditions.

The statement emphasized gratitude toward loyal patrons, acknowledging the relationships and memories built inside the Whitehall space. While the closure marks the end of an era, the team made clear that it is not a goodbye to their customers, but rather a transition.
