Myrtle Beach Police Department says 16 of 50 vacant officer positions filled

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Myrtle Beach Police Patrol Capt. Aaron Miller says the department’s hiring team has been doing a lot of work to get the once 50 vacant positions in the police department filled.

Miller said these efforts have gotten the vacant positions down to 34. He said the department has made appearances at high schools, colleges, universities and military bases.
