MAUMEE, Ohio (WTVG) – Those at Dino’s Family Restaurant, 129 Golden Gate Plaza, Maumee, Ohio, are feeling a tragic loss.
New Year’s Eve 2025, Toledo Police said Tim Haase, 44, was riding his bicycle in Point Place. Investigators said Haase was stopped at a traffic light and was hit from behind by a vehicle. Haase did not survive.
“Everybody loved him. He would come in and like, ‘Hey, how ya doin’?’ or tip his head or whatever, but he acknowledged almost everybody that walked through the door when his back wasn’t turned to us working on the line.
