ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — As crews take a major step forward with construction on Interstate 25 in Albuquerque, the interstate and a major road are set to be closed for two nights.
Starting Jan. 27, crews will set beams over I-25 as they work to widen the Montgomery Boulevard bridge. This will take two nights and close the interstate from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night.
During this time, northbound and southbound I-25 will close from the Montgomery off-ramp to the Montgomery on-ramp. Traffic will be detoured on to the frontage road at the Montgomery off-ramps, then over Montgomery and back onto the freeway, via the Montgomery on-ramps…
