Pedestrian killed while trying to cross Greeley highway

DENVER (KDVR) — A pedestrian was killed while trying to cross a highway in Greeley on Monday, according to a press release from the city of Greeley.

On Monday, around 5:50 p.m., Greeley police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian in the 5500 block of U.S. Highway 34.

Driver allegedly assaulted by owner of dog hit by car

Investigators said that a 19-year-old woman attempted to cross the highway in an area without a crosswalk when she was hit by the driver’s side of a Chevrolet Blazer, driven by a 54-year-old man.

After being hit by the Blazer, she was also struck by a Chevrolet Traverse, driven by a 37-year-old woman…
