Armed man arrested following 3-hour standoff in Spokane Valley, 12 guns seized

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — A man was arrested Monday evening after a three-hour standoff at a Spokane Valley apartment complex, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.

Jeffrey B. Hanson, 57, was arrested Monday after he had threatened to force a violent encounter with law enforcement, deputies said.
