Parents urged to discuss human trafficking risks with children this awareness month

EUGENE, Ore. — It’s a hard conversation for parents to have with their children, but experts say it’s a necessary one: human trafficking.

And with January being Human Trafficking Awareness Month, Kids FIRST wants to help parents and caregivers approach the subject.
