Indiana congressman Jim Baird released from hospital after crash in Washington, D.C.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana congressman Rep. Jim Baird was released from the hospital Tuesday night after he and his wife were injured in a crash in Washington, D.C.

“We are pleased to share that Congressman Jim Baird was discharged after less than 24 hours in the hospital, and his wife Danise continues to receive excellent care as she recovers,” Baird’s office said in a social media post on his account. “Rep. Jim Baird and his family expressed their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support, and he thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes.”
