After more than a year away, BJ’s Used Books is back in business at a new location off Bragg Boulevard.
Owner, Rudy Edwards, said Jan. 2 that the bookstore reopened Christmas Eve at 2636 Bragg Blvd. Suite 100, within the Eutaw Village Shopping Center. Edwards runs the business with his sister, Nancy Edwards.
“We didn’t know if it was going to be crickets, but it turns out that there’s plenty of people who are excited to go see their old bookstore,” Rudy Edwards said of the first day back in business. “We actually had a pretty good day despite literally it being a Facebook post that told people we were open.”…
