The first Buc-ee’s store in North Carolina is expected to open in May 2027 at a travel center in Mebane, off I-40/85 in Alamance County. It takes at least a year to build a new Buc-ee’s travel center. When opened, the 74,000-square-foot travel center is expected to provide about 200 full-time jobs.
