LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — A teenager was hospitalized following a shooting in the St. Denis neighborhood on Jan. 5.
Louisville police said officers were called just before 4 p.m. to the area of Dover Road and Benoch Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found evidence that a shooting had occurred but did not locate a victim at the scene.
Police later learned from Shively officers that they had found a boy, believed to be 17 years old, suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg near Crums Lane and Dixie Highway. Authorities said the teen was attempting to get to the hospital by private means…
