NYS shoppers warned about Karison Foods & Snacks recall

NEW YORK (ABC22/FOX44) – Multiple products from Karison Foods & Snacks Inc are being recalled in New York State due to an undeclared milk allergen.

The error was discovered during a routine inspection at the firm, where officials found that the milk allergen was not stated on labels. For that reason, the Port Washington, NY business is actively recalling the following:

  • Panjiri (UPC Code: 897307002437)
  • Alsi Pinni (UPC Code: 897307002512)
  • Punjabi Pinni (UPC Code: 897307002154)
  • Besan Laddoo (UPC Code: 897307002406)
  • No-sugar-added version of Besan Laddoo (UPC Code: 897307002215)

All of these products were packaged in 12-oz clear containers and have an expiration date of Aug 29, 2026. No illness has been reported, but those with a milk allergy should avoid consuming this product without proper labeling…
