DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Department of Transportation has announced a delay in the opening of the University Avenue entrance ramp, originally scheduled for Wednesday.
According to a Facebook post, crews have been working to reconfigure the I-235 and I-80 ramps that lead to northbound I-35 and I-80. By eliminating one of the lanes on the ramps, cars would have space to get onto the interstate from University and make space for bridge construction at Walnut Creek.
