JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A local family has filed a lawsuit against Jackson Academy and its head of school, Edward Wettach.
According to court documents, Carolyn and Jason Voyles allege that the school removed their son from the institution after his father, Jason, allegedly shared information about what he believed were illegal athletic recruiting practices.
The documents stated that the father put together a file identifying several student-athletes from other schools who were believed to be recruited for the Jackson Academy sports teams, which goes against the rules set by the Mid-South Association of Independent Schools…
