Arkansas Man Arrested, Charged in Deadly Chicot Road Crash That Killed Pulaski County Resident

Pulaski County, Arkansas — An Arkansas man has been arrested and formally charged following a deadly hit-and-run crash that occurred earlier this year on Chicot Road, authorities confirmed this week.

Deadly January Crash Under Investigation

The fatal traffic accident happened on January 18, 2025, along Chicot Road in Pulaski County, Arkansas. According to investigators, the collision resulted in the death of Tony Joe Workman, whose injuries were severe enough to prove fatal at the scene.

At the time of the crash, details surrounding the incident were limited. Investigators noted that the driver involved did not remain at the scene, prompting a lengthy investigation to determine responsibility and reconstruct what happened during the early hours of that day.
