WEST BOUNTIFUL, Utah, Jan. 6, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A West Bountiful police officer attempted a traffic stop on a man riding an electric scooter without lighted head or tail lights, but the rider fled and led the officer on a low-speed pursuit before being Tased.
Christopher Allen Madill, 36, was traveling west on 500 South when the officer attempted the stop at about 12:04 a.m. Monday morning, according to an arrest document filed by an officer of the West Bountiful Police Department.
