SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) – A man has been convicted of domestic battery after battering a woman inside The Nugget Casino in Sparks.
Jordan Ellingson was convicted of domestic battery, first offense. He was sentenced to 180 days in the Washoe County Jail suspended for 2 years on the condition Ellingson: serve 2 days of house arrest, complete 48 hours of community service, pay a $200 fine and a $35 domestic violence fee, complete 26 weeks of domestic violence counseling, complete an effects of violence in the home course, obey all laws, abstain from the use of controlled substances and/or alcohol, and have no contact with the victim.
