Active duty soldier faces assault charges after allegedly beating up Central Bucks police officer

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A U.S. Army soldier from Bucks County has been charged with assault and resisting arrest after police say he beat up an officer.

Central Bucks Regional Police Department sent an officer to break up a fight between two men on North Main Street in Doylestown shortly after midnight on Dec. 27.
