BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — The Buncombe County Commission passed a new agreement on Tuesday night to create a formal partnership between Buncombe County’s 911 center and Wake County’s.
Buncombe County officials said an agreement like this is crucial in the case of another natural disaster. The official partnership will allow each agency to serve as an alternative backup answering point in the event of an incident.
