Commissioners approve $119M for Buncombe County, Asheville City schools over 3 years

BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — Buncombe County Commissioners are moving forward with a three-year funding agreement for Asheville City Schools and the Buncombe County Schools system.

It sets school funding at almost 40% of the county’s prior 12 months of property and sales tax revenue.
