2 electrocuted after cherry picker hits powerlines, police report says

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Two men were electrocuted Tuesday evening after their equipment became entangled in power lines, according to an incident report from police.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department were dispatched to a business off Goer Drive around 6:40 p.m. for what they described as “an unknown situation involving a possible death.”

Once at the scene, the officers say a cherry picker, with two victims, was actively on fire and entangled in the powerlines…
