Charlotte area teen arrested after terrorist attack plot foiled

A Charlotte area teenager is facing federal charges after reportedly planning a terrorist attack for New Year’s Eve.

18 year old, Christian Sturdivant was arrested on New Year’s Eve on charges of porividing support to a terrorist organization.

The alleged targets of his attacks were going to be a fast food restaurant and grocery store in Mint Hill, a Charlotte suburb. Sturdivant’s plan was foiled after he told an undercover cop “I will do Jihad soon”…
