COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A local grandmother is having an impact with her weekly story times at Columbus Bound Bookshop.
While some might know Patricia Young as a former St. Anne-Pacelli schoolteacher, her story time attendees know her by what she calls her “grandmother name” – Grammy Trish.
“When I was a teacher, one of my favorite things to do was share stories with my classroom children,” Young said. “I loved finding picture books with artwork that spoke to me or a particular story.”
When her daughter Khristina Gallagher opened Columbus Bound Bookshop in late 2024, bringing Grammy Trish in for story time felt natural…
