HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) – A civil lawsuit filed against an Evansville bar after a man was reportedly beaten by bouncers will be dismissed.
The lawsuit against Chaser’s Bar and Grill was filed last year by Shane Hendrix. It came after a video surfaced showing him being beaten by two bouncers at the bar.

In the suit, Hendrix claimed he was taken to the ground, punched kicked and kneeled on by the bouncers. Hendrix was taken to the hospital for treatment of “extensive injuries”.
A settlement was reached last month although details were kept confidential. There are still ongoing criminal cases against the bouncers, Sean Shell and Johnathan Turner. Both are set to stand trial later this year…
