KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The University of Tennessee’s retired mascot Smokey X continues to receive care after being diagnosed with kidney cancer last year.
Veterinarians discovered a small mass on Smokey X’s kidney during a biannual appointment last year and diagnosed the bluetick coonhound with kidney cancer.
