LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Goss Avenue Deli is now open in the Schnitzelburg neighborhood in the former Baked AF location.
The new eatery opened Dec. 31 at 1010 Goss Ave., near Hauck’s Corner, according to our partners at Louisville Business First. It’s owned by Eric Morris, who was looking to change careers after he found out the restaurant where he was employed — The Dirty Bird — would be turned into a pizza shop.
Morris also has experience running restaurants, having previously owned Faces Bar & Bistro, which closed in 2021. He also owned another eatery called the Gospel Bird in Louisville, as well as Hull & High Water in New Albany before it closed in 2019.
