Alabama Shipyard LLC of Mobile, Alabama, has been awarded a $16.84 million firm-fixed-price contract for a 98-day shipyard availability to support the deactivation of the Military Sealift Command fleet oiler USNS John Ericsson (T-AO 194). The contract includes a base scope of work plus three unexercised options that, if fully exercised, would raise the total value to $17.16 million.
