The Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families said Wednesday that a 2-year-old child died from maltreatment.
The death was reported in a mandatory public disclosure. The child died Nov. 26.
“A DCYF investigation has determined this fatality resulted from maltreatment,” DCYF said. “The child and the family were not open to the Department at the time of this incident.”…
