ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester City Council on Wednesday condemned what it called “ICE brutality” in Minneapolis after a U.S. citizen was shot and killed during a federal immigration operation.
Council members said video footage of the incident shows the civilian being killed in broad daylight, in public view, and in front of cameras. The statement asserts the individual posed no visible threat, committed no crime, and was “violently killed” during the operation.
