Feathered Duo Left Alone On Golf Course Prompts Urgent Rescue From Michigan Team

Matthew Lyson, who runs Michigan Duck Rescue and Sanctuary, got a distressing tip about a pair of abandoned ducks stranded on an Ohio golf course.

Far from being wild, these young ducks had never learned to survive on their own. Day after day, they lingered near the greens, hoping a kind soul would notice their plight and offer them safety.

Matthew had a full day ahead of him, but when animals are out there waiting, he knew plans had to change, as he shared on Facebook:

“When you see two sweet little, barely adult, dumped domestic ducks, craving attention on Crosswinds Golf Course in Perrysburg, Ohio, you pretty much have to change plans quickly, and head out for the hour and ten minute drive to investigate.”…
