AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Developers of the historic Herring Hotel in downtown Amarillo will have to meet specific requirements to get almost $1 million in financial incentives.
The Herring Hotel in downtown Amarillo is one of the oldest hotels in the city, dating back to the 1920s oil boom days, and is now on track to become an upscale boutique hotel.
On Monday, the TIRZ board met to discuss the proposed Herring Hotel project and incentive request.
