AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A strong cold front and upper level system will combine to generate a wintry situation in our area on Friday.
Along with a blustery north wind and temperatures falling into the 30s, snow is likely beginning Friday morning.
Early projections include accumulations of 2′ – 5″ in northern areas, generally north of the Canadian River. For Amarillo, snow totals are expected to remain at an inch or less.
