SPOKANE COUNTY, WA — An adult woman died following a pedestrian–school bus collision Monday evening at the intersection of West Hastings Road and West Bellwood Drive, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office .
Deputies responded to reports of the crash at about 5:10 p.m. on January 5. Preliminary information indicates the woman was attempting to cross West Hastings Road from south to north in a marked crosswalk when she was struck by a Mead School District bus.
