Albany man faces felony charges after traffic stop reveals 12 grams of crack cocaine

Albany, NY (WRGB) — An Albany man is facing multiple felony drug charges after a traffic stop conducted by the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

According to Sheriff Craig D. Apple, Sr., members of the Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort (SCOPE) stopped a vehicle around 4:45 p.m. on January 7, 2026, in the area of Madison Avenue and Trinity Place in Albany for a traffic violation.
