ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — One person was detained following a domestic-related shooting that critically injured one woman in Albemarle County on Thursday morning.
At about 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, officers with the Albemarle County Police Department and crews with the Albemarle County Fire Rescue were called to the 800 block of Mallside Forest Court following reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
