LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police is asking the public for help in identifying a suspect in a shooting from Monday, Jan. 5.
The shooting happened in the St. Denis neighborhood and left a teenager in the hospital. When officers arrived at the reported scene on Dover Road and Benoch Avenue, they did not immediately find a victim. They were advised by Shively Police that a boy, believed to be 17-years-old, was found near Crums Lane and Dixie Highway with a gunshot wound in his leg attempting to go to the hospital.
