Body ‘Dislodged’ In PA Popeye’s Parking Lot After Pedestrian Dragged From Hit-And-Run: Police

The crash happened at approximately 7:20 p.m. in the 12th Police District of Philadelphia on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

Officers responding to a radio call for a male down in the roadway found a 62-year-old man unresponsive. Philadelphia Fire Department medics arrived and pronounced him dead at 7:47 p.m., police said.

During the investigation, officers located a silver 2010 Hyundai at a Popeye’s restaurant in the 5200 block of Woodland Avenue. Police said the body became dislodged from underneath the vehicle after the driver pulled into the Popeye’s parking lot…
