Bail denied for Baytown student accused of killing classmate

A judge ruled in a court hearing Wednesday that Aundre Matthews, 18, would not be allowed to be bailed out of jail, court records show.

An eighteen-year-old student accused of murdering his classmate at a Houston-area high school was denied bail during a hearing on Wednesday.

Aundre Matthews, 18, is accused of using scissors to stab a classmate and killing him at Sterling High School in December. Prosecutors charged him with murder just a few days later.
