ST. LOUIS – Residents in downtown St. Louis say they are tired of seeing abandoned cars on their streets sitting idly for weeks or even months at a time.
Their concerns come as thousands of people are in town for the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Enterprise Center.
If you walk just a few blocks north of the Enterprise Center, you’ll notice cars racking up tickets in busy areas like Washington Avenue. Downtown residents tell FOX 2 they are not only eyesores, but they also fear it sends the wrong message to visitors about what the city of St. Louis stands for.
