WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Sedgwick County Health Department has teamed up with Ascension Via Christi to offer free infant caregiver classes.
The class provides parents and caregivers with tips to help navigate a baby’s first 12 months, including safe sleep practices, swaddling techniques, nutrition and medication safety, CPR and choking basics.
Multimillion-dollar project begins at Wichita hospital
The class will be held monthly on select Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sedgwick County Health Department at 1900 E. Ninth St N. The first class takes place this Thursday.
