Damage to Summerville apartment due to gunfire, police say

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Officers are investigating damage to a Summerville apartment that was reportedly caused by gunfire on Wednesday night.

The North Charleston Police Department responded to reports of damage at the Latitude at Wescott Apartments, which was caused by nearby gunfire around 9:42 p.m., the agency states.

NCPD conducted an investigation at the scene, which directed them to the rear of Marco’s Pizza at 9500 Dorchester Road, where the restaurant staff reported encountering suspicious individuals who had entered the building…
