INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana State Police have shared new information on a crash and explosion that killed one person early Wednesday on I-69 in Hamilton County.

Just before 3 a.m., emergency crews were called to a crash in the southbound lanes of I-69 near Cyntheanne Road. That’s just east of the Campus Parkway exit, where Hamilton Town Center is located.

When first responders arrived at the scene, they saw “two heavily damaged vehicles, both engulfed in flames, with a significant amount of crash debris spread across the interstate,” Indiana State Police said in a 12:45 p.m. email…
