Richland County man pleads guilty to killing friend over card game, sentenced to prison

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A Midlands man admitted to shooting his friend over a card game in 2021.

The Fifth Circuit Solicitor’s Office said Emanuel Griffin pleaded guilty Tuesday to voluntary manslaughter in the death of 23-year-old Corey Andrews. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison.
