WARRICK CO., Ind. (WEHT) – Fire crews from Warrick and Spencer counties were called to a mobile home fire overnight.
It happened a little after 2 a.m. at the Yellow Banks Recreation Center. Firefighters tell us the home was engulfed in flames when they arrived, prompting a call for additional manpower.

We’re told a person living inside woke up to the home filled with smoke and was able to get out safely. Crews say there was no electricity in the home, but that there was a wood-burning stove. The fire was out in about an hour but firefighters say the home is likely unsalvageable.
