HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – An Evansville man entered a plea of guilty to the charge of voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Thursday.
Timothy Farber was accused of murdering Normal Ellerbrook in 1993. Farber was arrested and charged in the investigation last year after the case was reopened due to advancements in DNA testing.
Ellerbrook was found dead in his home with apparent blunt force trauma to the head and multiple stab wounds. Ellerbrook’s car was found near Farber’s home in 1993. Farber was previously sentenced to life without the possibility of parole for the 1995 murder of a Vanderburgh County man, however that case was overturned in 2019…
