EMTA changing 13 routes this weekend

Erie County bus travelers may want to double-check their travel schedule as EMTA announced route changes starting this weekend.

The Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority is adjusting 13 routes across the county, taking effect this Saturday, January 10.

An EMTA official said they change routes based on what’s running effectively and what gaps they need to fill.

She said bus riders should check to see if their route has changed and always track their bus in real-time.

“It could be a couple of minutes and a minor change of a few times, or it could be the trip is pushed back maybe 20 minutes to a half hour.
