MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Madera County farmers managed to stop three people who were trying to steal copper wire from agricultural equipment on Monday, deputies said.
On Monday, deputies responded to a reported copper wire theft in progress involving agricultural equipment. Deputies said that local farmers intervened and disrupted three people from stealing the copper wire. The farmers were able to prevent the suspects’ car from leaving.
