Burlington man arrested on multiple fentanyl trafficking charges, deputies say

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A Burlington man is facing multiple felony drug charges after investigators say they found a trafficking-level amount of fentanyl during a search tied to a months-long narcotics investigation, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.

Arthur Lecose Burton, 63, was arrested Wednesday, following the execution of a search warrant by the Alamance County Strike Team and the Burlington Police Department’s Opioid Violent Crime Unit, authorities said. Investigators reported locating a trafficking amount of fentanyl along with drug paraphernalia.
